After a little break, Summer seems to be back with us and another sunny weekend beckons for most.  Here are our suggestions for you…


BRITISH SUMMER TIME, Moretti Gran Tour, Hyde Park, London, on until 9th of July.


The Moretti Tour, a brand new event in Hyde Park,  will take you on an unforgettable journey through Italian culture and tastes with particular focus on 4 Italian regions are their individual signature dishes.

Each regional tour will last 45 minutes with street food, Moretti and aperitif samples available.

Live music, Djs and traditional Italian games will enrich the experience.

Tickets are generally £10, but they are also promoting an “Open House” on certain days.

SUMMER SCIENCE EXHIBITION, The Royal Society, London, 6th to 9th of July.


This free and family-friendly science event allows you to explore 22 different exhibits and to meet the scientists who are conducting the research. Admittance is restricted to those registered on line, in advance: https://royalsociety.org/science-events-and-lectures/


WIMBLEDON SCREENINGS, several venues in London, on until 16th of July.

NOTTINGHAM STREET ART FESTIVAL, Sneinton Market, Nottingham, on until 15th of July.


After the successful launch party on 23rd of June , this impressive street festival, promoting the best local talent, it continues on the 8th of July at Sneinton Market from 11:00 until 21:00 and on 15th of July at the Surface Gallery.

These two days, called “Blackbook days” will be “coloured” by live painting, markets stalls and Djs sets from Collective and Tekonta.

To announce the winner there will be a jury composed of National and International street artists.

UK CORPORATE GAMES 2017, multiple sport venues around Nottingham, 6th to y9th of July.


The Europe’s largest annual multi-sports festival for business will take place for the first time this year in Nottingham.

Many of the sports will be hosted at the University of Nottingham and there will be lots to see. For info, brochure and programme, follow the below link:



DERBY CAMRA BEER FESTIVALS, Derby, 6th to 9th of July.


This is of the best local events run by volunteers sustaining the campaign for real ALE and CYDER.  Sn-ap has confirmed trips this Friday and Saturday from London and back so, get your ticket and let’s enjoy a beer together.
