FIELD DAY 2017, June 3, Victoria Park
FIELD DAY, the annual music festival taking place in Victoria Park ( Tower Hamlets, East London ) is back, with a stellar line-up……including the U.S hip-hop supergroup Run the Jewels, fellow American and hip-hop artists Death Grips , musician Flying Lotus and the Irish-born British electronic music composer Aphex Twin. If you want to begin your June in a fantastic way and enjoying great live music this coming week end….this is your spot!
Stoke Newington Literary Festival, 2-4 June, Stoke Newington ( Various locations )
The East London literary Festival is back in Stoke Newington with its ‘cargo’ of debates, movie screenings and satire shows ( most of the events are free, but there are also ticketed events, all priced below a tenner ). This might be the perfect event for your week end the neighbourhood ranked 5th as place to be in London ( in a 14 long list) and best area for shopping by Time Out London .

Carnaby Street Eat, June 3, Carnaby Street
A free event with food to taste and live music to delight your ears with….how good does that sounds? Well, we are not talking about an imaginary experience, this is the Carnaby Street Eat! You will only need to take the Tube to Oxford Circus and walk to Carnaby Street and then you will have the chance to taste and enjoy dishes and cocktails ( £ 5 taster dishes ) from the 30 cafes, bars and restaurants that are participating to the event….and by the way, the entry is free!

Noshville, 2-3 June, Granary Square, King’s Cross
When live music meets street food, the alchemy is a great one! Noshville is a free event, with live music and street food brought together by the collaboration between the Maverick Street Festival and KERB Food. A mix of different Americana tastes, music , drinks and games are waiting for you this week-end in King’s Cross…and this is also a free entry event!
